This section teaches us about the use of modal auxillary verbs that are commonly used in everyday language. Modals can be used to express a number of different ideas such as obligation, permission, ability and advice. Examples include: may, might, must, have to, need to, be able to, could, can and should. This unit also covers the passive voice and the relative clauses.This unit was extremely helpful in showing the details of the language sounds that take place in the mouth. Without these details a person will always just think they have the sound right and not know. I also am very happy to know that there are universal sounds in the English language because the variations in accent can be extreme enough to seem like a new language.
