As the last lesson focused on teaching receptive skills, this lesson introduce productive skills and outlined how to teach them. The lesson was similar in structure to the previous lesson, providing definitions, examples, and sample activities for the classroom. For the sample activities, advice and suggestions were given to makes sure they go smoothly and productively.This unit would have been useful for my first semester of teaching. I had a textbook that worked against me and the students and didn't know what to do with it. It wasn't helpful for the students and wasn't interesting. Learning to create or find materials to supplement the book is vital to creating a good class atmosphere and takes time to implement into the classroom.
