The Unit focusses on teaching productive skills, writing and speaking. It delves in to the issues from of accuracy to creative speaking and interaction encouragement as well as handwriting, spelling, punctuation and creative writing activities. I found the section on games and speaking and writing encouragement very useful as I'll surely put in in practice in the future.Speaking and writing are the productive skills because they are the process of creating language. Speaking focuses more on fluency while writing focuses more on accuracy. It is the teacher's job to spark interest in the topic, so the students want to use creative language. Both skills should be worked on constantly to get more fluent and accurate in the English language.
