This unit was on phonetics. I took a phonetic class in college and it was one of the most interesting classes I have taken. It was in Spanish, but it was interesting to learn what native English speakers and Native Spanish speakers find difficult when learning a new language. For example words beginning with 's', many Spanish speakers add an 'e' in front of it in English.This unit encompasses grammar such as nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs etc. It goes over examples of these say for a verb transitive and intransitive. It provides examples of proper grammar usage and where to use the grammar depending on the sentence and which word is the object. The chapter involves tenses of verbs, and the multiple uses of English wording in sentences.
