I have never taught a class before, therefore lesson plans are completely new to me. It appears that it is extremely important to be organized and understand each phase of the lesson in order to successfully teach a class. The engage, study, and activate sections of a lesson is extremely important, and I will be using this unit to look back on when planning a lesson plan.unit 11 is about teaching receptive skills which are reading and listening to help the students receive and understand the information or topic. they can be contrasted with productive skills which are speaking and writing.several problems that may arise in teaching and learning of receptive skills are addressed such as: pre-teaching vocabulary, careful selection of texts.
