The use of films and books material for English teaching may have to be arranged well before the lesson to ensure that students do not use films and books from their mother tongue and then translate. I appreciated the illustration: grammar is the trunk and branches and vocabulary is the leaves. It emphasizes the need to consolidate all the various aspects to achieve a balance.In this unit, I learned about teaching receptive skills. I learned how to teach reading and listening lessons in a way to encourage and inspire confidence in the students. This lesson helped me to see different skills that we use while reading, as I knew but didn't break it up as into separate categories. This unit helped me to better select reading materials for the students.
