This unit showed the different past tenses, and how they change depending on your sentence and which tense you were using: past simple, past continuous, past perfect or past perfect continuous. I am still figuring out the rules and which way is best to explain this to students. Especially, the irregular verbs. I am use to saying them, as to where the students won't know them.This unit is very useful for me but its a bit tricky especially on the reported speeches. One critical thing i learnt was that reported speeches are not quoted so we should refrain from using quotation marks. I did not understand the diagram used to explain the days(tomorrow, yesterday etc) I understood how i could use it but how i can use it to teach my students wasn't clear.
