In this unit, I learned of the different kinds of materials I as a teacher can use to engage my students. I must balance creativity from finding the right authentic materials with grounded, tried and true lessons from course books to ensure the most effective and fun classes. I can also create my own materials so as to cater to the specific needs and interests of my studentsArrangement in this class is very important to the style of the lesson. Orderly rows, Circles and Horseshoes, Separate tables and The teacher's position can help the running of the lesson and the interactions between student and teacher. However writing on the board one must be careful not to loose the attention of students by following the simple rules one can over come this.
