This unit taught me the four basic skills of the English language and that they are equal to each other in terms of importance. I learned how to prepare and execute a lesson that focuses on one or both of the receptive skills. I learned how we use these skills on an everyday basis and ways to improve to gain a better understanding of the context of texts and listening to others.In this Unit i learned about Phonology and pronunciation. There are different patterns used during speech such as rise\\fall,fall\\rise etc this are considered different levels of intonation. You have nonsense words,gesture,humming or singing and the board. You also have your stress points and that all depends on where the native speaker is from because of the different accents.
