in this unit it was easier to learn the different Past Tense forms after having spent time on the present tense - due to certain similarities. What i have realized is that it is important to understand the basics elements of each form and the same would apply for teaching to make it easy for students to digest.We learned about how the past tenses work. There are four types: past simple, past continuous, past perfect, and past perfect continuous. It has lots of similarities to the present, so it was much easier to understand than the present unit for me. They gave usages, exercises to teach, and lots of good examples.
