This unit covered the four types of past tenses. I found this to be the most challenging unit, so far. Determining correct usage of past tenses can become very confusing. As with most parts of the English language, there are also irregularities. One must continue practicing tenses until they become perfect.This unit taught me the importance of pronunciation when teaching non native speakers the English language. I found the examples of how to introduce pronunciation, like charts and using your own mouth, useful. This is also the first time I have been introduced to phonetic script which I thought was interesting.
