I learnt about receptive skills - reading and listening and problems connected with them. I understood how to choose an appropriate topic for a discussion ang how to engage students. An important thing while teaching receprtive skills is giving a relevant task.I found out about a typical receprtive skills lesson.I really enjoyed how this lesson was laid out, including the video. It definitely demonstrated that its important to include both reading and writing when explaining something. The fact he wrote on the board what he said helped me clarify what he meant. I see that if it helps me it will help the students as well.
