In this unit, Unit 18: Modals, Phrasal Verbs and Passive Voice, I have learned about the passive voice versus the active voice and when to use which one. I have learned about the 3 types of transitive verbs and when they are to be used. I have learned in what situations it is appropriate to use which modal verbs.This unit was interesting but I teach in a lower level school and most of this will go over my students` heads. I usually have them copy my mouth shape and use tongue twisters to help with their pronunciation. The details might interest some of the students that want to go to university but not my normal classes.
