This chapter discussed the different kinds of materials and equipment a teacher can use in the classroom to supplement a lesson. It gave an overview of the common materials, how they can be used, and mentioned some problems that can occur with each one. For example, it advised teachers who want to use an interactive whiteboard to check the equipment and have back-up plan before the lesson, as computers are wont to fail. I felt that much of the material in this chapter was self-evident, but it was nonetheless helpful to hear a focused explanation for the equipment available to me as a teacher. The list of useful websites in particular will be quite helpful.
