This unit says two things: course book - pros and cons, and lesson materials- real and customized. Course book is a well set series of material like teachers' book , students' book and etc. It is well-organized and graded and non-up to date. As for real lesson materials, they are real world information which can give students confidence and as well as hard to control to suit every students' taste. On the other hand, these drawbacks that can be compensated by customized materials which can be made suitable for students. Plus, the relationship between course book and material is that material is a good resource to support where a course book can not provide.
