Unit 15 is based on Evaluation and Testing. It looks at the various ways of evaluating students' level and progress, as well as some of the common external exams that teachers may need to prepare their students for. It goes forward to different ways to access a students' language level, which are; tutorials, evaluation by students and tests. Some kinds of tests include; placement test, diagnostic test, practice test, progress test and achievement test. What I have learnt from this unit is that tests are very important in the teaching and learning process because they enable the teacher to identify difficult areas and prepare future lessons to rectify them.
