This unit was on using future tenses. There are 7 commonly used future tenses which often confuse students. Even for me, I find when each tense ought to be used confusing at times. Part of the problem may be that we do not always speak exactly this way. For example, I might say \"it's going to rain this morning\" without any evidence, even though by the usage standards listed in this unit that should be \"it'll rain this morning\". I learned a lot of new ideas on how to introduce these different tenses through activities and songs. I also learned that it may be beneficial to introduce some tenses side by side so that students can appreciate the differences.
