What I feel I have learned from this unit is that having the foundations or knowledge of the present tenses helped me understand the concept of past tenses. I found this unit easier to study because of the prior knowledge of present tenses. Teaching the tenses system would be must more effective for the students if done within a similar timeframe of each other whilst the knowledge is still fresh. It will also be beneficial to use each tense as a comparison to the others. There are many different teaching techniques like story telling, detective work and discussing past holidays which can all be fun and interactive to keep students involved and enthusiastic.
