This lesson helped open my eyes a lot more when it came to grammar. Grammar and the parts of speech can be a tricky thing to teach but its not impossible. In fact it can be the easiest Unit to teach students. Everyone knows about nouns and adjectives or and for me articles. But gerunds do not get as much light. Superlative and comparatives do not either. If you think about it a superlative is actually a term for outstanding or more than in a way. So, you can definitely think of -est as more than and combine -er with comparative. With grammar you can think of fun ways to teach the students so that it does not fly over the students head or become to difficult.
