This unit was good for me, because making a lesson plan is still a work in progress for me. This unit went over what a lesson plan should look like, and some material that you can use in your classroom. This was a great unit for me and trying to envision how I would create my classroom, and how I would try and engage my students so they can be the best at learning a new language.This unit talked about language skills, specifically receptive skills. These skills are reading and listening. The unit talked about the two reasons for reading and listening and also talked about what the students understanding will depend on. This also talked about how to select texts for students. I have learned how to select texts based on students interests, skill levels, etc.
