In this unit, I learnt the distinctions between zero conditional, first conditional, second conditional and third conditional. I also learnt how direct speech is reported. One thing of interest was time expressions and how today becomes 'that day,' yesterday becomes 'the day before,' and tomorrow becomes 'the next day.\" This information will be very helpful while teaching lessons.This unit discusses how teachers should use coursebooks and materials in class. There are two types of materials, authentic and created. Authentic materials are more interesting but may not be specifically tailored to the students. Created materials go step by step but may be not so interesting and should possibly be modified and replaced with more relevant materials if necessary.
