The content of this unit explains recognition of different parts of speech: nouns, adjectives, verbs, adverbs, gerunds, pronouns, prepositions, conjunctions and articles. I have learnt how to clarify these parts of speech and when to use them. After having studied this unit, I am now able to recognize different parts of speech and know the rules and exceptions, that accompany them.This unit was helpful in that I was able to learn about and identify various tests for language classes and outside examinations that students may have to take. It was particularly useful to see what the tests were aimed to assess and what audience they are targeting. The practice test was also useful to see in terms of what one might look like and what kind of questions are asked.
