In this unit i have learned different ways to test students. Testing in the beginning with placement and diagnostic tests important because it tells teacher about the students. Progress tests are important, but some teachers believe it is not the best way to see what students have learned. But teaching students and using tests is helpful because it tell teachers what students know.This unit focuses on teaching to special groups including beginners, young children and business or specific needs students. It was interesting to read the different needs of such group, the different challenges they faced and how to better address their needs. As I am teaching Beginners english, the tips section on Beginners was helpful to increase the effectiveness of my lessons.
