In Unit 7 I learned how to teach new language vocabulary, grammar, and functions. I learned how to teach vocabulary, introduce grammatical structure, teach language functions, all within the framework of a particular lesson. There were examples of ?straight arrow? lessons, ?boomerang? lessons, and ?patchwork? lessons, all involving the engage, study, and activate models.This unit tackled the different forms of the past tenses. These forms included the past simple, past continuous, past perfect, and past perfect continuous. It also discussed the usages, the common student errors and mistakes. Different set of sentences on the example of the past tense forms were also provided. Lastly, irregular verbs and their examples were also given in the module.
