This unit is all about the past tense and its four different aspects. I understand why most students get confused with the other aspects of this tense,especially when it comes to the past perfect continuous tense, since it isn't always used like the rest. However, I think that the simplified explanation in this unit will be of big help in clarifying each aspects' usage in sentences.I don't recall encountering this unit in my English language education. There was basic phonics, but not as complicated as this! If I don't get it, how can I teach it? The video was very helpful, to show how to introduce phonemes to a class. I know this is an important lesson to teach, as pronunciation is important. I will need to memorize the phonetic characters to gain confidence.
