To my opinion it is very important for this stage to be clear when learning a new language. It's beneficial to both teachers and students to be confident with it. Grammar is the foundation of every language on which we build our further knowledge.Conditionals are an essential component of the English language. Zero conditionals, first, second, third, and mixed conditionals are structured so that sentences, when spoken, make sense. Also, teaching this to students can be done in different ways; split sentences, complete the conditional, chain conditionals, and nuclear bunker role play. I believe these ways are helpful for students.
