In this lesson, we discussed past tenses and all of their uses. We covered past simple, past continuous, past perfect and past perfect continuous. We learned about exceptions to the rules in the past simple form (see, have, make, etc), the rules for conjugating within each tense and when they are generally used. Finally, we covered various teaching activities used to practice each tense.Further enhance the terminology by example reading listening activate study engage skimming skills do not focus on every word using scanning skills reception skills reading and listening for a purpose engage compare answers.
