In any teaching situation no methods, techniques and strategies is perfect, however; a good teaching method will definitely lead to effective learning. This unit emphasized on common methods and techniques that can be used with different kinds of learners. Advantages and disadvantages of each method are presented so that language teachers can determine as to what kind of method is suitable for each group of learners. The ESA approach is presented in a way that any language teacher will have a proper knowledge on how to use this in different ways to have variation of techniques in motivating their students, teaching them, and letting them actively participate in any classroom activities. The examples of elicitation techniques are very interesting and easy to follow, furthermore; they are very useful in any classroom situation. Aside from these, I personally like the giving feedbacks and correction techniques because I believe that any student has the right to know his/her weaknesses, so that he/she will stand a chance to rectify any error or mistakes. In conclusion I can really say that I have learned many things from this unit which I can apply in my teaching career. The techniques are very unique, the examples for every activity are very interesting and most of all everything is presented in an easy to follow way.
