This course has really helped me be prepared for the unpredictable and the unforgettable. Before going to another country to be a TEFL teacher, I am not going to know what resources will be given to me and what conditions I will be working in. Taking this course has given me resources to be able to teach people from different backgrounds, with different levels of english, and in all different types of schools ? whether it be a rural, poor community or a big, developed city. But having this as a base will definitely make my experience more enjoyable. With this information I will be able to relax and enjoy the experience rather than stress about situations that are out of my hand. After every completed unit, I started growing more and more anxious to leave and start a new job in a new country. And upon completing this unit, I am not only extremely excited, but I have a piece of mind because I think I am prepared for this new chapter in my life.
