I have appreciated the broad overview of issues related to TEFL as well as the broad swath review of significant points of english grammar. I found the overview built my confidence as a teacher, and I now feel better prepared to face certain dynamics in the TEFL process that I was unequipped for before. Though I had a basic concept of the lesson plan structure, I appreciated gaining language for the Engage, Study and Activate phases. This will help me in the future to plan more intentional and organized lesson plans that follow this natural learning process. As I primarily have experience as an TEFL writing professor, I enjoyed the units that covered teaching other aspects of english like speaking, pronunciation and listening. These will be very helpful as I anticipate teaching in these areas in the future.
