I have gained so much information from this course. Because of this course I better understand how to communicate with, evaluate, establish rapport, handle discipline, teach various skills and grammar, and plan many different lessons for my students. It has given me a new found appreciation for teaching them. This tremendous amount of knowledge has given me more confidence to teach and it has set me with a background of information that I can use at all times when handling different situations in my classroom. My weakness was lesson planning. This lesson planning practice has given me so much more understanding and I find myself better at it now. I did not know about many of the areas covered in this course, but I plan to apply every skill and ability that I learned about, to teaching my students. I love english, but I know teaching it here comes with difficulty, therefore I have to expect the unexpected and use the information that I learned to help my students better understand. My english skills have improved because of this. The course was very effective and it has helped me to highlight problem areas in my classroom, in which I look forward to improving so that my classes will be very effective.
