Teach English in NanshAn Jiedao - Chongqing

I personally feel this course has been of much value to me both on an individual level and a teaching level. I feel this class improved my personal knowledge of english grammar. Before taking this class, I did not know much about teaching. I had never created a lesson plan or reviewed english grammar since middle school. I now feel adequately prepared to step into a foreign classroom and teach english. The lessons were enjoyable and adequately challenging. I feel I got a good review of english grammar and possible difficult classroom scenarios. I enjoyed how the class was geared toward all types of students. I feel I have also gained confidence in my english teaching ability. I now have a better understanding for how a classroom should be ran and what a good lesson plan looks like. I feel I know how many new, fresh, and fun ideas for making the class exciting and entertaining. I thought the lessons on receptive and productive english skills were interesting. I did not realize there were four english skills. I also learned about during the pronunciation lesson. I had never considered teaching pronunciation and stress of the english language. I plan to use much of what I learned in the classroom. I am excited to implement the ideas for engage, study, and activate activities from the lesson. I also plan to use the lesson plan template so I can create my own lesson plans. I will also use the grammar lecture handouts as references for english tenses and grammar questions I may have. I will make sure my lesson plans incorporate skills of reading, listening, speaking, and writing so students can develop all 4 english skills.
