Throughout this course, I have gained a variety of new information, ideas, references, and techniques. From the beginning, I was quite nervous about what to expect from the 20 courses that I would have to complete within the six months. Since finishing it, I have gained nothing but new knowledge and useful life information regarding teaching and grammar structures. The conceptual structure of how the ITTT has laid out their teaching hierarchy has made me a strong believer of just how effective it may be. There were many times when reading a course or working on the worksheet that I would reflect back on certain ways my teachers in high school and college taught me. It gave me ideas for how I might react to certain situations when teaching or how I would teach the students a certain subjects. I personally will make a point to start every lesson with an engaging fun game or discussion of interest to the students. The grammar lessons that will be given will be given at a steady pace and I will not proceed until all students have learned the material. I will treat every class with the most respect towards the students and enforce that I expect the same in return. I will periodically review the information on structure and organization for ideas when I encounter new situations throughout my career. I also plan to purchase some of the reference material that was introduced throughout the courses so I can gain more ideas and understand new facets of the english language.
