Doing this course, I have gained the knowledge in various areas which has also increased my confidence and self esteem. I feel like the TEFL course has given me a chance to see the big picture of the english language and broke it down easily for me to study and retain the information. The units were divided logically, each unit better preparing me for the next, and created a path to progress. This course has given me the knowledge and the classroom skills to teach more effectively. I have been teaching abroad for over 3 years now and I still find new ways to improve myself with the help of this TEFL course. I will use this TEFL course has a guide, reference and resource. I now have a much better understanding of what it entails to teach students, a language that is foreign to them. Another thing this course has helped me with is how to interact and teach adult classes. In my current job, all of my classes revolve around children of ages 2 to 11 and I haven?t had many chances to develop my abilities and skills with the older groups. This course has built my self-confidence and reassured me that if I was thrown in a classroom of adults I could think of activities that relate and are suitable for them. The course prepared me for many different situations such as one to ones, large groups, small groups, children, teenagers, adults, etc.
