Although english is my native language, I learned english is very complicated and that teaching needs to be preplanned, structured, and interesting. Not only can I use the skills gained from this course for teaching, but I can also apply them to other areas of life. Not only does the material apply to teaching english it can also transpose onto other professions. Both my bachelor?s degrees are related to business leadership and human resource management and the information I gained from this study will translate into many areas of business like presentations, holding meetings or conduction training and classes in the business environment. Learning how to maintaining the student?s motivation is one of the keys to successful teaching and this also applies to the business environment as well. It is my plan to use the knowledge I gained in this study to teach long term, hopefully at one location, long term in China and other areas of Asia. This study was very helpful in developing a good foundation for the opportunities ahead in teaching english to foreign learns and giving me the confidence to teach in my first foreign class room.
