Actually, the course has been an amazing experience for me. Firstly, I have gained a solid understanding of the most important grammar points in the english language. I have already used the course book as a resource to further my understanding of a topic I am teaching and to copy materials for my class. I will continue to use the TEFL material as my first resource. Secondly, I have done a lot of self reflection during this course. It has provided me with opportunities to analyze my current teaching practices, create detailed lesson plans, analyze how I deal with discipline issues and adapt my assessment strategies. I am certain that this self-analysis has made me more aware of my teaching style, as well as my strengths and weaknesses and has improved my ability to be an effective teacher. Thirdly, this course has given me a great deal of confidence in my ability to be an effective ESL teacher. I am a more motivated teacher as a result of this course. I am strongly considering more educational opportunities in ESL. In addition, I have decided to make teaching ESL my career and I am currently seeking job opportunities to continue my work in ESL. Lastly, the structure of the course is very motivating; an intense study of a specific topic that is followed by a thorough worksheet and then positive feedback is an excellent way to learn. I would like to take this opportunity to thank your ITTT team for the positive, encouraging feedback throughout this course. I will most definitely encourage my colleagues to participate in one of your courses.
