I have learned how to make a lesson plan using the ESA methodology and have had practice making 10 lesson plans. I will apply this by making lesson plans using the ESA methodology and creating activities that are appropriate for the students? abilities and needs. I learned a great deal about the role of a teacher and what a good teacher should and should not do. I will apply this by encouraging the students to speak as much as possible and directing attention to them, rather than directing all the attention to myself. I will try to give mostly positive feedback and only correct when necessary. I learned about english grammar and the precise terminology of english grammar. I will apply this by teaching the students each verb tense in a logical progression, i.e. present simple, present continuous, present perfect, present perfect continuous. Finally I read about and saw a good many examples of activities and teaching aids for use in the classroom, which I will incorporate in my lesson plans.
