A lot of the information from this course is fairly new to me because for english being my primary language, while attending school, the teachers wouldn?t go so in-depth about the english language since it is built into our daily lives and we use it on normally. To the American society, the way that we use english is the way that was taught to us even prior to going to school to enhance our knowledge so to us, there isn?t anything other way that english can be used. For example, from this course, I learned how the specific tense behind a word changes the entire meaning and action of the word but to me, the word being used is the only way that the word can be use to express what the speaker is trying to express. This course was quite interesting to me because even having english being my primary language, now I learned so much more in-depth of the specific reason why the language is being used in such format and for what occasion would it be appropriate to be used in such ways. I planned to incorporate what I have learned into my teaching but showing students the importance of the tiny details and aspects of even a slight change in the english language and tone can change the entire meaning. Aside from the english language, I learned how a lesson involve with now just a topic you want to teach but it involves with various preparation to ensure that the lesson goes accordingly as planned.
