I have personally gained a great understanding of what goes into teaching and planning a lesson. Units about classroom dynamics, grammar, and lesson planning helped me evolve as a teacher. Classroom dynamics allowed me to gain an understanding of what to do in different situations that could arise during class and how to handle them. Grammar units taught me details and specifics and how to explain them to students. Preparing lesson plans allowed me to understand how to plan for lessons and keep them interesting. Most schools have different methods of teaching and probably don't follow one set way, however this course gave me a good understanding of what is a tried and true method of teaching. Also, since learning how to teach is a constant process I plan to use what I learned from this course as a base of experience to draw from.
