My personal gains from completing this course include: An understanding of the many different types, levels, and characteristics of english language learners and classes that I may come across Knowledge about the various approaches and methods of teaching for english language learners An understanding of the different aspects of language teaching, including vocabulary, grammar, and language functions Familiarity with the ESA and other lesson plan formats Knowledge and ideas related to teaching listening, reading, speaking, writing, and pronunciation Information about possible teaching materials, including course books, resource materials, etc and ideas for creating materials Information about various testing and placement materials and useful instructional equipment Strategies for dealing with various types of students and teaching situations A crash course on basic principles of english grammar, with special focus on parts of speech, verb tenses, clauses, and conditional verb phrases

ITTT course was a great trip in gaining ESL knowledge

I feel that I have gained an enormous wealth of information from this course

English as a global languageIt is pretty safe to assume that English is the most widely used second language in the world today

This course has taught me a number of different things and refreshed me on many others
