In this lesson, we went over what needs to be taken into account as lessons are developed for teaching English to non-native speakers. It is important to know what factors will be the main issues to address and overcome in order to create a positive and effective learning outcome for the students. It is important to know what kind of activities will compose the different stages of learning.This unit covers how a lesson should function in a more in depth way than previous units. The unit provides more examples of ESA lessons such as: straight arrow, boomerang and patch work. I learned that as far as lessons go, each day can be very different than the previous one. The unit showed how ESA can be used differently depending on if you are teaching vocabulary, grammar or functions.
