This unit presented a detailed discussion of reported speech and conditional phrases, both of which can be confusing even to native English speakers because of a tendency to take them for granted. The unit devoted much time to distinguishing the conditional phrases and providing useful teaching ideas for them. Moreover, the reported speech examples will be very useful in my teaching career.In this unit I have learnt that writing and speaking are as important to learn as reading and listening. All of them together provide knowledge required to learn new language. In speaking part important is the topic which we are discussing, so students can be engaged through whole process. In writing part different parts of writing s formal and informal language skills needs to be practise.
