It's impossible for the students to be concentrated all the time of a lesson. However we must try our best to achieve the best. Teaching language receptive skills is quite challenging for low-level english students, even more if the teacher doesn't speak the same language as the students. One must expose the students to the language, improve their listening skills first, and then pass to the reading part.In unit ten I learned about how the teachers style of leading the lesson and attitude can drastically change the outcome of the student's education. This does not only affect the quality of the student's education but also the student's attitude towards the lesson. I was able to take away a lot from this lesson since this unit provided me a live example of two lessons but approached in a different manner.
