In this unit, I found it hard and confusing, especially when having to classify verbs, transitive, separable or not. What was interesting was what games I could use to teach a lesson and make it less confusing. This can be done by discussing the words and creating a situation for a role play. The difference between defining and non-defining clause is the defining clause is very important in the sentence because If it is omitted, the sentence does not make sense. A defining clause identifies or classifies the subject while a non-defining clause just gives added information about the subject which already has a clear reference. If we leave this type of clause out, the sentence will still make sense.
