The English Grammar can be a little tough to explain and this lesson kind of shined a little bit of light on to that fact. Phrasal verbs are not easy to understand in one day, it takes a lot of teaching and steady practice to get the structure down packed. From the previous units on verb tenses, if i were to introduce the structure earlier i believe that the students would not struggle as much with the final understanding of the verb tenses. A passive voice such as, \"I was chosen by the students,\" instead of an active voice, \"The students chose me,\" indicates how understand the different ways to formulate a sentence. I know that i will have a lot of fun teaching the students Modal auxiliary verbs.
