I felt this Unit was lacking something?.? Listening, reading, speaking, writing are all important aspects of learning a language and you do address them?. So maybe what was missing were examples, tasks, as in Unit 7. In the Unit 8 test I found that the ?writing? activity you proposed for questions 11 ? 15: ?create a short fairy tale? was very northern European or Western and I don?t know if people from other cultures (Asian, Middle-easterners, Chinese, Africans, Latin Americans) could relate to the concept of ?fairy tale?. Shouldn?t you have used one of the following: folk tale, folk story, traditional story, myth, legend, fantasy, fable?
