I have learned what roles teachers play during lessons; and, now I am able to analyze which roles I tend to take during my lessons. It lets me avoid common mistakes like overusing my place in class and accidentally taking the initiative away from my students when prompting them. I am reminded that it is important for a teacher to switch between these roles appropriately and to be aware of how to carry out the required role. My eyes were opened about the Common European Framework levels. Finally, I feel reaffirmed about what it takes to be a good learner and how important it is for a teacher to build motivation by making classes more interesting and entertaining, especially, when teaching young learners.
