Unit 9 talks about lesson planning and how to plan a lesson effectively. TEFL teachers should know the importance of lesson planning. Lesson planning creates a logical sequence for the lesson. It is a working document. It forms a record of what has been taught and it can be used for covering. In this unit I have learnt how to write a lesson plan and it should be simple, flexible, timed, structured and balance all the skills. I have also learnt what to include in my lesson plan: learner objectives, personal objectives, language point, teaching aids, anticipated problems for me and my learners, procedure, phase, timing, interaction, class level, number of students, date, time and teacher?s name.
