This was a very good lesson in the practical application of teaching. Knowing how to manage a classroom full of people is a large task, which requires a lot of organization and trust building, and this unit helped break down that process. I think that the focus on positives and building up students is incredibly important because otherwise they will be much less likely to get as much out of their classes. Knowing how to physically set up a classroom, when to sit or stand, how to use your body language, and the tone of voice are all very important to the overall environment. Building rapport overall is a crucial part of the class experience and this unit really helped explain how to go about doing that.
