In this lesson, I have learned a lot of knowledge about past tenses. The system and structure of past tenses is not too different from present tenses. Such as past simple, regular verbs we always add ?ed or ?d to the base form of the verb, like I did?I played. For irregular verbs there is only one simple past verb which has two forms according to person, that is the verb?to be?which has the forms?was?and?were?.Unfortunately, there are no rules to help kids know which are irregular, or how they are formed. So it is for actions completed at a definite time in the past. And I also learned form and usages of past continuous; past perfect; past perfect continuous.
